Pricing

Prices are subject to changes without notice. All taxes are extra. Merchandise is shipped at prevailing prices at time of shipment.

 

Terms of Payment

Terms are cash on delivery unless otherwise agreed upon. Past due charges of 24% per annum is applicable. Invoice errors are required to be disclosed within 10 days from date of invoice.  A $ 50 service fee will be applied to all NSF payments. Title and ownership of all materials shall remain with Novatec Lighting Inc. until paid in full.  

Freight and Delivery

Freight will be shipped with transportation charges added to the invoice. Title to all products shall pass from Novatec Lighting Inc. to the customer upon delivery of goods to destination point or the forwarding carrier. Should damage or loss occur, customer must make a claim against the carrier immediately. Title and ownership of said material shall remain with Novatec Lighting Inc. until paid in full. Claims for shortage must be filed in 5 days.  

Date of Shipment

Shipping dates are approximate based on receipt of customer order and full information. Novatec Lighting Inc. will in good faith endeavor to ship by the estimated shipping date but shall not be responsible for any delay or damage arising from such transport.

 

Returns and Claims

Prior authorization is required for a valid merchandise return. Authorization is issued by response to customer request if it is within 30 days of the original shipment date. Non defective materials must be in resalable conditions, in new and sealed original cartons. Minimum value of material returns must be $ 500.00, and cost of freight.

 

All returns are subject to a minimum 25% handling and factory inspection charge.

 

Products considered being defective in workmanship and materials are exempt from this charge.

 

Custom made (specials) and non-stocking products may not be returned except in the case where the defect has been proven to be manufactures responsibility.   Order cancellations are only accepted in the form of writing and must be received 10 days prior to the shipment of such order. Verbal order cancellation is not acceptable.  

 

Specials, non-stocking items may not be cancelled after release of order.  

Warranty and Obligation

All products are only warranted by their manufacturer.      

            

At its option the product manufacturer shall repair or replace the product or refund the purchase price upon notification and affirmation of the local representative of the defect.

 

Novatec Lighting Inc. cannot be held accountable for the cost of material, labor, or freight, involving actions of installing, removal, or replacement of any products. In no situation is Novatec Lighting Inc liable for special indirect or damages. The manufacturer reserves the right to replace or repair defective products at their own discretion. The manufacturer guarantees are not applicable to products which have been altered or repaired outside the manufacturer repair facility or have been subject to neglect, abuse, accident or not installed by a licenced technician and in accordance with the local bylaws/electrical code.


Shipping and Returns Shipping

We will gladly provide shipping on orders and partial shipments within the rest of Canada and shipping charges will added to the invoice.

We will also ship outside of Canada with freight, duties and taxes the responsibility of the purchaser.

Returns: All Novatec Lighting Inc returns must be done through Novatec Lighting Inc. Customer Service with an approved RMA.

 

All damaged product must be reported within 7 days and a RMA will be issued. Warranty returns also require an RMA. Once it is determined that the product in question is defective due to workmanship, Novatec Lighting Inc. will inform the customer of the course of action to be taken. No products without an approved RMA will be accepted by Novatec Lighting Inc.
